hi everybody! Let me just get you all caught up on some random news... i forgot to let you know that John and Amy Frentheway had their baby a little over a month ago! Maggie is such a beautiful baby and is doing well! (congradulations:)) Matt and Julie are next with thier baby due in the end of June! (wonder if it'll be a boy or girl?) Lewis Zook got a job at Carefree Kitchens.. Praise God! And their family will be moving as soon as they find a house!
As far as opportunities to get involved, everyone's encouraged to go minister on Thursday nights either downtown or at the shelter. We are asked to choose one place and stick with it for 6 weeks. At the end, we will take a week of rest! Also, we are so excited to be having a youth night on May 8. Curtis and Patty will be here from Spain to help out with it, and we're really looking forward to seeing them again... especially since this time there will be no painting involved! :) I think Penn Clark is in Spain ministering to their church right now, so we should be praying for them and for his time there to be a blessing! i have a feeling lots of good stuff is coming with that!
And of course, Sunday services are an awesome time to come together to celebrate and hear from the Lord! (please join us!) Last Sunday, Matt gave a powerful word on faithfulness by studying Daniel. I feel like i can't do it justice by just talking about it, but i think it was recorded so if anyone wants a cd, just let us know! :) thanks! have a grrrrreat weekend!
