One awesome thing God did at the tent meetings was with Heather, who has been hanging out with us off and on at the shot tower down town Thursday nights...
There was a word of knowledge about healing being released for people's relationships with their fathers, and Heather came up for prayer. She also asked for prayer because she had recently found out that she had gall stones and was supposed to have an operation on them. Jay and I prayed for the constant pain in her stomach to be gone and for the Father's love to touch her in the name of Jesus. After praying, we asked her if the pain was gone. She said no, and Jay asked her if there was anyone she needed to forgive, he asked if she had forgiven her dad. She forcefully said no and that she did not want to. It was awesome because after talking to her about forgiveness for a while, she ended up praying "Jesus I choose to forgive my dad" and we prayed for God to go into those moments of pain and bring healing. She was crying, and we asked again for complete healing of gall stones and she said all the pain left! I talked to her on thursday and she still was not having any pain!
I'm amazed at the healing Jesus brings, in physical bodies, in relationships, and in every way. I'm learning to just ask for the love of the Father to invade, because i know if people could taste of His love, they would be touched and healed, and set free!!
