We were just ready to be by ourselves and get something to eat. It had been a busy last few days full of people and life and us girls needed to get away and just have some girl chit chat. No one was in the ministry mode or even wanted to work a miracle but then God decided to show up. It all started when a man walked up to us and wanted to know if we could spare some change so he could get something to eat. Of course we couldn't resist the opportunity and Mel went to get him something to eat.
In the meantime another lady walks by and she is wearing a brace. She told us girls that it looked like we were looking at her like she was in pain. She started relating her story and said she had 13 screws in her back and had osteoperosis really bad. She could hardly push the bathroom door open. So Manda steps in to help her.
While Manda is busy another lady named Trish walks up to me and wanted to know if she could have some bus fare to get to her mothers house. Judging by the blood shot eyes and her weary expresion it looked like she had had a tough day. She just started sharing her story and telling me everyting that was going wrong and all I could think to do was give her a big ole bear hug and tell her Jesus loves her over and over. God touched her and she just started to cry and tears were streaming down her face.
By this time Mel was done buying Will some food and she walks back around the corner and Amanda and I are consoling and praying with 2 crying women that Jesus had touched right there in McDonalds!! Trish had had foot surgery and had quite a bit of pain by the time she left after encountering Jesus her heart didn't hurt as bad, her foot had no more pain, and she left with a smile on her face! The lady that Manda prayed for said she didn't have as much back pain and she prayed for healing in her relationship with her husband. Before Will left we had the chance to pray for his bad lungs.
Jesus is doing a mighty work in our everyday lives let him Invade yours!
